Chuck: You are beginning to sound much more intelligent than my remarks of last week. Especially after reading the latest issue of McLeans (not that it's a great business journal). I will depend upon your counsel to alert me to the fact that it is time to start looking at the $C again. Until then, I'm not too sure that I will be diving in...other than perhaps some otions well out there. You are correct in saying that the Liberals will not touch interest rates until after elections. Until then, the best it can do is likely stabilize or continue a slight downward drift. There's awlways the chance tha Cretien will annouce that, upon re-election, he will abolish the GST...and this time "really mean it". We could get a pop then.
