The GUMM stock fraud

<<I don't consider the $4 decline today a "collapse" when one considers that the stock rallied from ~15 to 35 within a few weeks. The chart is still in excellent shape>>

I don't put much faith in "charts". But if you insist:

This is the five day chart of the GUMM fraud:

finance.yahoo.com

This is the five day chart of NASDAQ:

finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=5d

<<I don't see how you can call $8 million in sales "disapointing" when it was in line with estimates. Sales of Zicam in Q3 were $1.2 million, so sales in Q4 were up 566%. You've got to be kidding if you think that is "disappointing".>>

Considering the stock collapsed from 35 to 27 the day these sales results were announced. I would say that was pretty disappointing. Remember, this is a market where good sales gains are rewarded with huge moves in stock prices upwards (even if earnings come in negative!). The only thing that kept the stock from collapsing to 12 is the fact that it is heavily shorted and it still has a cult following. Don't worry though...it'll get there eventually.

By the way, Zicam's quarterly sales could not even hold a candle to one week's worth of sales of a legitimate cold remedy.

<<GUMM isn't a stock fraud or any other kind of fraud>>

This stock has been a fraud from the day it went IPO. I read the original prospectus. You should too.

<<Apparently you didn't read the news last week. biz.yahoo.com;

I read it carefully. There was no conclusive evidence presented that Zicam works. Judging from the short time involved in the study, the sample size was trivial; furthermore, the results weren't published in a legitimate medical journal (let me guess, they're going to be published "any day now" and when the next journal laughs you out the door you'll come up with yet another bullshit excuse). And gosh, isn't it fortuitous how this "clinical study" result is released the exact same day as the pathetic earning report?

<<You are the laughing stock of SI.>>

Perhaps. I'm also the richest laughing stock on SI.
