BEFORE THE BELL - Cisco heads higher
NEW YORK, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Shares in Cisco Systems Inc., the world's biggest maker of equipment that powers the Internet, were up in pre-opening trade on Tuesday ahead of the company's quarterly earnings report.

Cisco was at 127 on the Instinet electronic broker system, up from a Monday close at 125-3/16.

Cisco was to report fiscal second-quarter earnings after markets close. First Call/Thomson Financial, which tracks analysts' estimates of corporate earnings, put the consensus forecast at $0.23 a share.
