Veramark gets another order from Alcatel.....end user new GSM cellular carrier in the Republic of Mali.

PITTSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2000--Veramark Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:VERA - news) today announced receipt of another order from Alcatel SEL AG for a VeraBill billing and customer care system. The end user of the VeraBill system will be a new GSM cellular carrier in the Republic of Mali. Alcatel, a global value added reseller of VeraBill, will provide software customization, installation, training and on-site implementation services. The order is for a 10,000 subscriber access line model of VeraBill.
The Republic of Mali, in Western Africa, has 10.5 million inhabitants in an area twice the size of Texas. Mali's economy is largely agricultural and mining with its principal exports being cotton and gold. The VeraBill system to be installed by Alcatel will be in French, the official language of Mali.
