DataMirror Adds Value To IBM's High Availability Rebate

DataMirror Corporation (TSE: DMC), an IBM High Availability
Business partner, announced today a special pricing promotion on
its award-winning High Availability Suite for IBM AS/400 in
conjunction with IBM's High Availability Rebate Promotion
announced on February 1st, 2000.
Under the terms of IBM's rebate program, customers purchasing a
new AS/400 Model 720, 730 or 740 for high availability before June
23, 2000 may receive a rebate from IBM equal to 10% of the
eligible hardware purchase price by licensing DataMirror's High
Availability Suite or iCluster software. Customers may also
receive from IBM a 35% discount off the prepaid purchase price of
a new AS/400 Software Subscription.
DataMirror is further extending the value of IBM's High
Availability Rebate Promotion by offering customers a special
discount on the second High Availability Suite or iCluster license
for the backup AS/400 system. In addition to normal installation
services, DataMirror will also include a no-charge, one-day,
on-site high availability workshop with the customer in which a
certified DataMirror High Availability expert will outline
specific requirements, methodology and approach.
Customers requiring server consolidation for high availability or
clustered AS/400 environments may also be eligible to obtain
licenses for DataMirror Transformation Server software free of
charge for a limited period. Transformation Server is the industry
leader in rapidly and seamlessly integrating data among multiple
databases including DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and Sybase
across OS/390, OS/400, UNIX, LINUX and Windows NT platforms. Under
the terms of this promotion, customers who purchase a
Transformation Server license for a target AS/400 computer will be
able to obtain licenses for Transformation Server on multiple
data sources for consolidating enterprise data onto the target
AS/400 server.

This promotion provides an added incentive for companies to
implement high availability for protection from system outage and

eligible to receive a rebate from IBM under IBM's rebate program
will be eligible to receive these discounts on High Availability
Suite and Transformation Server from DataMirror. The date of
