Mortgage Bankers Holding Corp. Announces Limited Preview of Estate Planning Seminar Online at nicoa.com

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2000--Mortgage Bankers Holding Corp. (OTCBB: MBHC), doing business as National Institute Companies of America ("NICA"), announced that a limited preview of the Estate Planning Seminar Online is now accessible at nicoa.com.

NICA is launching an accelerated marketing campaign to reach more customers through community-independent banks. To this end, NICA has devised a series of Internet based virtual presentations providing content equivalent to its full seminar programs. The comprehensive productions will be accessed by secure user identification and will be used exclusively by community banks for their select clients.

NICA was founded on the strategy of maximizing revenues for community banks, on an equal if not superior, performance basis to the largest banks in the nation. The company is structured to assist banks, bank holding companies and other financial institutions (brokers/dealers, S&Ls, accounting firms, etc.) in the planning, design and implementation of an insurance marketing program and financial planning profit center within the bank or entity. By providing more convenient avenues of access to the products and services of the National Institute Companies of America, the company expects to attract more community-independent banks and indirectly, more consumers.

"In this age of convenience pioneered by the Internet, we must make every effort to utilize virtual tools to the advantage of our growing business. We make it a priority to consider the needs of our marketplace," said Kevin P. Maloney, president.

A preview of the NICA Estate Planning Seminar may be accessed through a homepage link at nicoa.com This is a demo site only and will be available only for a limited time.

Other current enhancements to the NICA web site include links to Investor Q&A, Stock Quotes, Company Profile and Market-Pulse Journal. Additional links will be added as information becomes available. The company welcomes comments and suggestions at corporate@nicoa.com.

NICA is one of the largest providers of estate and financial planning products and services to the community-independent banks in the United States.
