From today?s WSJ: Nokia Widens Lead in Wireless Market While Motorola, Ericsson Fall Back

Nokia widened its global share of the mobile-phone market to 26.9% in 1999.....
....Total sales of cellular phones are expected to rise 45% to 410 million units in 2000 from 283.6 million units sold last year, according to Dataquest.

Ericsson had a tough year, mainly because it, too, didn't have a product range that matched Nokia. One entry-level model, for instance, hit the market about a year late. Its market share fell to 10.5% (29.8 M units) from 15.1%....
