No reason to get crazy, folks.

On days like these, ask yourself the following:

1. Has anything changed within the company itself which will impair its long-term competitive advantage?
2. Has a competitor made a significant and lasting impact on market share?
3. Has the product category been replaced by something new and better?

If not, smile because the drop is due to emotion or a reaction to irrelevant news and your favorite stock has just gone on sale! Take advantage of the buying opportunity and turn off the laptop for a while. At this time next year, you will be bragging to your friends about getting in at only $35.
