A couple of things may have happened.

1) Some profit taking triggered a bunch of stop loss orders, which brought it down fast. We might have a ton of traders who are tired of waiting for THQI and set the orders.

2) A short wanted to drop the price fast, with the possible help of stop loss orders.

3) Someone long wanted to bring the price down to accumulate more based on the apparent bottom and/or pending news.

4) None of the above.
