Now it's really getting interesting. According to George Gilder in the latest ASAP magazine, TXN is working with a company called Astarte Fiber Networks to develop an Optical Switch. Optical switches and Cross Connects are the Holy Grail of networking. Wouldn't surprise me if the big announcement on Feb 22nd had something to do with this.
