I stopped shorting a few weeks ago after selling my QQQ puts.. Shorting in this market is like rowing up Niagara Falls in a leaky canoe. I'd much rather wait for the good stock companies to come to me and go long. Timing a short market is almost impossible. There will be time to short, probably a window will open, after the 14th when most of the companies have reported and a good deal have run up. Even then it would be for 1-2 days.
