One of the things that I find somewhat frustrating about GMST is the difficulty in obtaining information from the company. GMST does not have a company web site (GMST must be the only NAZ 100 company without a web site), rarely participates in conferences and road shows, and its Investor Relations leaves something to be desired. Even during the earnings conference calls, GMST is not particularly forthcoming regarding strategy, expectations, etc. Perhaps the company provides more detailed information in private analyst meetings. I suspect that the lack of readily available information has contributed to the large institutional ownership of GMST by scaring away many retail investors. Even some brokerage firm analysts express similar frustrations although they continue to recommend the stock (e.g. Robertson Stephens). Based on the foregoing, a significant part of an investor's investment decision is based on placing a great deal of faith in Henry's ability to execute a plan for GMST. Given Henry's track record, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and I continue to add GMST on these dips. However, I certainly understand the recent frustrations experienced by numerous individuals.
