I don't really approve of it but it appears AMD is just toying with Intel with these demonstrations. Joke is, they are getting press...
BTW, what speed is that Willy (TM-Cirrulvr) demo going to be?
Wouldn't be surprised if AMD brought a few Athlon machines and pulled out the one they needed to top Intels demo...just by a little... <G>

BTW, I still think AMD/boxmakers will market the 1 Ghz machines as 1000 Mhz since the "really big" numbers sell...BAM BAM BAM!
Most consumers might not know what a gighertz is...then there is that mutha'board maker by the same name who could really capitalize.
