Cisco Passes Significant Milestone,
Topping $100 Billion in Market Value

Of all the recent bull-market milestones, few were as impressive as the onereached Friday by Cisco Systems Inc. On the strength of a $4 surge in its stock price, the San Jose, Calif., maker of computer-networking gear saw its market capitalization roll past $100 billion.

The achievement is noteworthy because Cisco reached the century mark after just 12 years in business, in what is believed to be the fastest such.

Here's hoping for $500 Billion soon.
