With all due respect, I doubt he gives two hoots about the timing. It probably took him a while to piece it all together.

Even without violating FASB rules, it is this kind of misdirection in press releases that bothers me. By "hiding things in plain sight", they comply with disclosure rules but do us investors no favors. The playing up of dazzling multi-million dollar investments with the concommittant playing down of the revenue sharing, rebating, commission payment etc. is the functional equivalent of the magician's misdirection with one hand while he pulls the coin out of your ear with the other.

As I said in an earlier post, this kind of stuff makes it hard to value this company. You can bet the big $$ investors (M-soft, Rupert, Janus) have hedged with these confusing contract terms. I have trouble figuring out how their hedges might affect my investment.
