Market Cap Update, DMC and it's competitors:

INFA: Informatica Corp closed today at 118 3/4 US$
Market cap of 1.80 Billion US. 1999 Revenues $62.4 million

QSFT: Quest Software closed today at 89 1/4 US$
Market cap of 3.46 Billion US. 1999 Revenues 70.9 million

DMC: Datamirror closed at 17.75 CAN$
Market cap of 181 million CAN$. 1999 3rd quarter YTD Revenues of 29.5 million. My year end projected revenues 43 million.

Convert to US$. DMC market cap approx 125 million. Revenues approx 29 million.

Revenues vs INFA: 47%
Market Cap vs INFA: 7%
Revenues vs QSFT: 41%
Market Cap vs QSFT: 4%

So revenues are 41-45% of its competitors, and market cap is 4-7%. A similar market cap based on revenues would put MCD between 840 million and 1.281 billion US$

That translates into a share price between 82.29 and 125.49 US$

convert to canadian at say 1.45, DMC is fairly valued at 119.32 to 181.96 Canadian dollars per share...

Thats a wide range, and revenues may be less than i predict, but you still get my point... Now just imagine if revenues can close that gap...

Regards
Jay
