What will it take for you to declare Siebel the winner!

Gotta love it!

I'm almost certain Siebel is the winner. But for a guy who is all too commonly referred to around here as Merlin, that word, "almost," is important enough to cause me to remain cautious. Once I have determined that the ERP folks simply can't catch up with Siebel, which I am giving them all of this year to show significant indicators, even I will declare Siebel the Gorilla. Until then, Siebel is by far the most likely Gorilla in a space that definitely will produce a Gorilla.

Good enough for now? :)

By the way, if indeed Siebel's products are on Main Street, that alone would verify your belief that Siebel is the Gorilla. A Gorilla's products enter Main Street only after the Gorilla was spawned in the tornado. If I were to concede that Siebel's products are on Main Street, I would also HAVE to concede that Siebel is the Gorilla. Nice try, but it didn't work. :)

Great conversation!
