oh i forgot- not I don't use chemicals on me silver- i only use polishing clothes- or on VERY dirty silver i use silver polish. But i lovely my silver all the time- and all you need for clean silver is a cloth- and it doesn't take the patina out of the cracks- which I like- because that little bit of patina left in the low places gives silver it's dimensionality.
