Mikey--- I 'charter'on the Great Lakes,, Erie and Ontario,, the Ocean (Atlantic) is for me. Chartering is a tough business as there are so many part timers out there trying to get help with boat payments. The good part is the Coast Guard is cracking down on UNlicensed operators. Many of them are not equipped as required either,,, Some states license guides (Captains are required) but do not know or care if they are up to the law..
