I was just looking through an ad for CompUSA and Egghead. I saw half a page for Sierra games and Blizzard (Warcraft). Also, I saw some advertising for Berkeley Systems' "You Don't Know Jack." I also saw a good amount of space with Davidson's Blaster series.

As you know, these companies are all part of CUC Software. When I see the data showing CUC Software's gaining in market share (not just from acquisitions, but from faster growth), I feel pretty good. Sure, I'd love to have avoided a ~15% loss after owning the stock for 15 months, but as we've seen in this market, only a select few stocks have gone up. At some point, CUC will rebound nicely.

I can make no predictions or assurances about the stock. I am not very confident in the stock now. But I have the greatest level of confidence in Walter Forbes and the management of CUC, as well as the company's business model. In 5 years, a lot more people are going to know who CUC International is. And we're going to have a nice profit.

Until then, who knows? I'm waiting for a good time to add to my position.

Todd
