Market share, and market share growth in the nitride blue/green LED markets I think will give us a good indication of market acceptance of CREE/SiC. The following report seems to indicate that Cree has 43% of the market for the "nitride based LED market"....Nichia also has 43%. They also talk about the differences between the high-brightness LED market and traditional LED's. The report is from August (wish i had bought then!)....but it is a great primer on Cree target markets and business model. Stephens seems to have a teriffic analyst department.....the legendary Gemstar report was from them too. stephens.com Slacker
