Spatial information is data that refers to objects in space, ie roads, parcels of land, buildings, mechanical parts, etc. Spatial data is usually represented with geometry like arcs, lines, circles, and rectangles. In the same context, data that consists of words or numbers (what most of us are familiar with) is referred to as 'tabular information' or table data.
