Harley--Welcome to the Curlew thread. Price action in all three public vehicles is muted considering the nearness of drilling. There are a number of possible explanations, including the Bre-X aftermath, and no specific spud date has been announced yet. A rig should be available in the near future, which could be a few days or a couple weeks. Drilling should take about 3 weeks to reach total depth. A 3 mile pipeline was initially envisioned, but that may be reduced to 1 1/2 miles with the recent Amerada Hess discovery. Even Amerada is waiting for the outcome of our well before laying pipe to their latest well. It's likely the first well will be hooked up for production prior to drilling offsets, thereby generating cash flow for future wells. Consider current market action an invitation to buy more stock at excellent prices.
