I figured you or someone would note the October gap. We shall see if this one plays out again, but I would suggest that bearishness overall was barely a ripple in the general public, and seems that professionals may not be that much different. New lows never really got going with the same intensity this year, while new highs certainly have...

A nicely complacent situation.

Oh well, still lots of opportunity to make money in either direction for the nimble and I don't care about those foolish enough not to be nimble !

EDIT: Yahoo, Amazon and others hit by more attacks today even this evening from what I can see. Was SI out as well? I see YHOO shareholders were complacent nuff to shrug of yesterday's denial of service attack... but what if they happen every day or week for a while...

Might be the pin required...
