CORL - 3 years ago Corel was on the ropes and didn't look like it would survive; yet today, it buys a very reputable software development company. What a paradox! And more than one: The world's most innovative company™- Microsoft- own 10% of Borland. The merger signifies that MS will become a stockholder in Corel. It gives me the creeps, but the irony is that MS owns stock in 2 of its bitterest rivals.
