"The following report seems to indicate that Cree has 43% of the market for the "nitride based LED market"....Nichia also has 43%. They also talk about the differences between the high-brightness LED market and traditional LED's. The report is from August.. 43% market share - if true - sounds pretty accepting to me. And to think CREE only entered this market, what, 18 months ago? Less when this report is written. I would love to hear from others about the +43% figure though. Any other support for this number? What is CREE's market share now?
