Forget about hyperinflation in the US. Historically major industrial nations have only expeienced hyperinflation after being defeated in major wars as Germany was in World War 1. Hyperinflation is out of the quesation in the US as long as it maintains its position of international dominance and the dollar serves as the de facto world reserve currency.

That said, inflationary pressures in this country will pick up substantially as long as the stock mania continues. In time this will be a big plus for gold and gold shares.
