Thanks for the reference.

Does the fact that Linux isn't ready for prime time argue for a trusted "manufacturer" to distribute the product? I know of Red Hat, don't know others that sell a Linux finished product.

Interesting thought, how about Microsoft Linux? Disregarding the fact that the FTC would go bananas, it might make sense for both Microsoft and the marketplace.
