John, RE: Interesting thought, how about Microsoft Linux? Disregarding the fact that the FTC would go bananas, it might make sense for both Microsoft and the marketplace. Given that we've already got Red Hat, I don't see where the addition of a MSFT Linux would help the marketplace. In addition, for the business market VA Linux also provides a well-supported Linux (heck, it may be Red Hat Linux for all I know). Trusting Corel to provide your Linux operating system seems to me to be a the same thing as buying TRS-DOS for your DOS.
