Mikey... I hooked a pretty good-sized marlin of Boynten Beach Fla. while fishing on a charter when I was about 14 years old. We were out in 7-9 foot seas and I was seasick. Had him on for 20 minutes and he jumped 11 times before sounding and breaking off on the stern of the boat. The capt. couldn't maneuver the boat away as the seas were so rough. Ahhhhhhh, the one that got away. Capt. said it woulda gone about 250#. No regrets, he was beautiful, put up a great fight, and who knows, he may still be out there! El
