Interspeed Announces $5 Million DSL Equipment Reseller Contract
With Solunet
Nation's Premier Network Solutions Provider to Offer DSL Product;
Interspeed's Integrated Access Routers
Speed Sales Cycles To Service Providers
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Interspeed, Inc. (Nasdaq:
ISPD), a leading provider of integrated, high-speed digital subscriber line
(DSL) access solutions for building-centric Internet Service Providers, today
announced a 12 month contract with Solunet Inc., to offer Interspeed's DSL
product line. The value of the contract is expected to exceed $5 million.
Effective immediately, Solunet, one of the nation's premier providers of
telecommunications equipment and services, will begin offering Interspeed's
complete family of DSL Access Routers to carriers nationwide. Interspeed's
unique products include virtually every component required for DSL, saving
significant cost and reducing the complexity of provisioning high-speed
Internet services.
The contract expands the strategic relationship the two companies formed in
November 1999, and should further position Interspeed as a leading DSL
equipment supplier to central office and Multi-Tenant Unit service providers.
