The DT-s (Double Top-spoos) at 1449.50 from yesterday's RTH (Regular Trading Hours) session was busted north during the first few hours of Globex last night, and that session then set up a triple top at 1454.00 Spoos, which was then pinpricked north. I think that most of the day will see a sideways move, not a rocket north. The market may move higher into the close, however, and if I can position myself properly (around 1:45 p.m. and down around 1442.00 Spoos), I may actually hold a contract overnight (something I rarely do as a "go-home-flat" day trader). The news from CISCO after the close might ignite prices into an extension north, but I don't think so. It is an almost perfect time for the market to NOT go higher (as many expect it to do). The bears would take heart in a sideways move and pile on for much of the day, expecting a sharp break south "at any moment." Perfect accumulation territory. On Thursday, the bulls romp again. This market is very good at disappointing bears.
