John, It seems to me..., to trade the Indexes with futures then one must understand you are either right or wrong....period, it is not a sliding scale. Timing and developing an understanding of the market patterns and fluidity is basic. Decisions that are profitable have to have a consistency and frequency that reflects a whole spectrum of knowledge and unconscious signals. There is no better place to develop and test your trading capacity then in this simulated arena....about as close as can be without simulated screens for trade entry. Most people here have not yet begun trading futures actively, but probably have at one point. Some are here just for the game. Can you separate the 2 influences? Why bother! If your timing is good and your understanding of money management is good they will keep you in. If you make a trade for 50 contacts here or one live based on your signals...what does it matter as long as both are good. I'd rather burn thousands of dollars here then learn how not to do that Live. So far I've not transferred any cybermoney to my local bank. But I believe that ability is coming shortly. <<smile>> Chip
