Hi Mike: I play close to the money, most of the time, just the
next strike price above or below. For short term calls or puts,
I try to buy when she is on top or bottome of the 50 day moving
average range..and sell as soon as she makes a good move and
stops, but I have some long term puts Jan98..25s they are in
what I call a home run position. And won't do much untill she
really tanks, which I think for sure she will at least once
between now and then.
Do keep in mind Putmann is a momentum player, and one of the
big holders of AOL, look at the funds that hold AOL, as that
can have as much or more to do with which way the stock price goes
than all of the other hype.
I'm close to buying 10 contrats of May 45 calls, but want her to tick
down just a tad more before I bid.
