Chuzz, edamo, rudedog....Ot, Ot, Ot
I was reading through the threads this a.m., and I noticed that the "belligerent one" was continuing on his rampage of misinformation...Try as we all may, this guy clearly refuses to attempt to comprehend the errors of his posts...In this situation, unlike any other I have encountered before, arrogant pride blocks the path to better understanding...As edamo said yesterday, we all learn from these threads every day, regardless of age, or market experience...
This situation also concerns me, as it is a symptom of a much broader problem...too many people investing in companies they haven't researched, or securities they don't fully comprehend...As money pours into the markets, you often have to wonder if the average investor actually really understands how and where they have put their savings to work...As we all know, the market teaches the harshest lessons...What happens when the "euphoria" subsides, and the card house comes tumbling down??? Only then will the sound investment strategies truly show their colors...
As for our friend, if he refuses to listen, it will only be a matter of time before he burns out...As I said yesterday, arguing with this guy is like watching a dog chase his tail....
The irony of the situation is that he posted to me yesterday that he expected "CSCO to get crushed after earnings", and was therefore "SELLING puts"...If he inadvertently put on on this bullish position, he will have accidently made money...How scary is that....Rest assured, it always evens out in the end... |
