[ASND and UUNet] Steve -- Good posts! I've been watching GRF's acceptance as an indicator of how seriously Internet providers are taking the need for bandwidth upgrades. The first indication came at Ascend's conference call last quarter when they indicated sales had been strong. I'm not so worried about Cisco's position as the story's just beginning and I'm sure they'll meet them nose to nose if not go them one better. As for the ATM-Gigabit Ethernet debate, I'll leave that to those who understand that part of the network. It's bad enough losing sleep over modulation codes. Pat
