Chip,

This type of banter is what makes SI such a wonderful environment. I'm not beating a dead horse, but am very curious, especially in a live.. real dollar environment about ones ability to "pull the trigger" the thing that kills you with options and futures, as you know is the premium errosion; although you are right, the question is how long dose it take to play itself out. If you jump on the wrong side of a trade.. how long are you willing to let the trade run against you? Look at any chart take a look at a swing from top to bottom. Although you may have a 120 point cycle from top to bottom. Take a close look at the swings within the cycle. If real dollars are at stake, do you think you could stay to the bottom when every tool that you use points correctly to the side of the trade you're on but the index has swung 15-20 points against you. Just from experience I have pulled the triger on many trades that I had turned out to be correct on, and also a lot that I was right to pull the triger at the time that I did.
