Actually, you're the one busted. The only way to guarantee a constant rate return is in a lump sum bond, that was the "picture" you painted, not me. But the bottom line was:

1)You couldn't calculate present value; either a lump sum or a tbill that pays periodically, I can.
2)The numbers presented by me were correct for the scenario presented, you couldn't dispute that.
3)You implied a zero risk investment in bonds, I correctly pointed out that there is huge risk as with this investment as with any investment. For decades, strictly bond investors have UNDERPERFORMED the market.
4) Your paltry 200% return last year is laughed at on a QCOM thread, you should realize that.

I'm real sorry you missed Q's run last year. I wish a lot of people would have listened. I remember your name from on this thread from years ago, the opportunity was there if you were the one doing the listening. Good luck in bonds.
