NEW YORK, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Bear Stearns said on Wednesday that analyst Andy Neff had
raised its 2001 earnings estimate for Sun Microsystems Inc. (NasdaqNM:SUNW - news), based
on expectations of higher revenue growth.

-- said fiscal 2001 earnings per share estimate was raised to $1.20 from $1.10 to reflect the
possibility of higher revenue growth, which could be closer to 25 percent.

-- said fiscal 2000 earnings per share estimate was unchanged at $0.90.

-- retained buy rating on stock, saying his only concern was the stock's rich valuation at 70-75 times his 2001 earnings
estimate.

So what is the big news about 25% revenue growth. Wasn't
that said 100 times before?. Does it deserve 120 trailing
PE? Does it deserve 100 times FY2000 estimate?

Even the bullish analysts are worried about valuations
