That's why it's good to keep them in your head," This is not only done on stocks like wavc but is also done in Canada. Idb on Toronto yesterday brought down from around seven dollars to well under five to clean out the stops.. no news..closed yesterday around 6.40...this morning was up .60 to around seven...it certainly looks like manipulation by brokerages with deep pockets and you are right ...only use stops on stocks with great MOMO and keep them tight..if not much MOMO then use mental stops or if you just "think" of putting in a stop... SELL instead.Interestingly IDBE on NASDAQ didn't have the same plunge.As an afterthought, when this happens it is sometimes a good indication for the stock.Just my thoughts.
