Agreement to Enable billserv.com to Offer Credit Card and Paperless Check Payment Options
SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2000--billserv.com, Inc. (OTC BB: BLLS), an electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) service bureau, today announced it has signed a transaction processing agreement with Merchant Commerce, Inc., enabling billserv.com to offer Merchant Commerce's MerchanTrust(TM) Transaction Services to its biller customers. By working with Merchant Commerce, billserv.com will be able to offer credit card and MerchanTrust Paperless Check(TM) payment processing to its customers through Automated Clearing House check processing; the ability to process payments on behalf of its billers; in addition to providing advanced events tracking to assist in customer care.
MerchanTrust Transaction Services provides a secure, seamless payment gateway that enables customers to pay for goods and services using a credit card or personal check. MerchanTrust Transaction Services include processing for VISA, Mastercard, Discover Card and MerchanTrust Paperless checks. Merchant Commerce has processed more than 40 million online transactions to date.
