AAON after scanning for potential earnings plays for next week (officially coming out tonight).. I came across a nice little number: AAON. It is #1 in its sector and with a unusually small peg of .17. Chart was rather nice with 2 bull pennants and movements to higher highs. AAON broke through resistance of 16 on 1/28 with a fantastic move to the upside. When I searched for news as part of the process, I noticed that just TODAY of all days they come up with a newswire that they will beat expectations. Very nice if a little late :-).

AAON expects 1999 results to top expectations

TULSA, Okla., Feb 9 (Reuters) - AAON Inc. (NasdaqNM:AAON - news) said Wednesday that it expects fourth quarter and fiscal
year 1999 earnings to beat estimates of 35 cents and $1.40 per share, respectively, due to continued strong business.

The air conditioner and heating equipment manufacturer said it expects to top the latest analyst's fourth quarter estimate of 35 cents
by 15 to 20 percent and to beat the median $1.40 per share estimate for the year ended Dec 31, 1999 by 6 to 8 percent.

AAON's reported fourth quarter earnings of 23 cents per share and 82 cents for the year in 1998.

The company also said it got an order valued at more than $5 million from MCI WorldCom Inc. (NasdaqNM:WCOM - news), AAON's largest single order ever, with the prospect of similar follow-on orders.
