These are real ecommerce products Novell is releasing Whittman-Hart Unveils Customer Relationship Product CHICAGO -- Whittman-Hart Inc. (WHIT) unveiled e-Catalog, an e-commerce customer relationship product. In a press release Tuesday, the information technology company said e-Catalog allows companies to segment customers into communities for cross-selling, conduct secure e-commerce transactions and deliver customer self-service for order status. The first version of e-Catalog is available to organizations with an SAP AG (SAP) back-office environment. E-Catalog integrates Novell Inc.'s (NOVL) NDS eDirectory service platform, which stores the customer's personal profile and purchase history; Novell's iChain, which provides the access control and user authentication needed to group the customer into a community; and SAP's SAP R/3, which leverages the information stored in eDirectory and suggests to customers the products or services that are consistent with their interests.
