A note in the Northern Miner this week about the deposit. NM says that projected cash costs per ton are $20 and construciton is about $112MM (about a buck a ton of reserves). Hard Rock Analyst says current sales are getting US$ 45-50 per tonne of "rock" at +32% plus before impurities debits. The impurities (cadium,As + Mn) are coming back at low levels, so the debit shouldn't be much. I think that CHL is also loking at a benefaction plant to bring the phospate to 32%. So we have a ball-park $20-25 return on a ton. That's what - $2BB US+ net from sales (before taxes I suspect). Not a bad return for a junior whose mkt cap is presently $20MM cdn!! I think that the stock has some room to move up still! LOL.

a more concise market study on CHL is at the hard rock web site.
