Wally: Richardson wants stable oil prices? OPEC will be happy to comply at a price in the $30 range. But be careful what you ask for because if oil prices come down, the difference goes in the economy to keep it hot. Maybe that is what they want. Prime the pump baby. After all, nothing like Summers talking the yield curve down at the long end while the Greenman is trying to do the opposite to the short end. But we tried to correct that today. Bond market loves volatility. It is trading like an emerging market today. I am surprised no day traders have taken up residence in the bond market. It seems like a place for them. I wonder what tomorrow's economic policy will be? There are some big boys who are getting killed here. Nothing like being on the wrong side of a trade twice in a row.
