I recommend consideration of Norm Hostetler's advice. The historic downtown accomodations are a bit steep compared to outlying districts a few miles away. techstocks.com To clarify my previous remark, "Nobody is murdered there", I was specifically referring to the public housing in which the last murder had been committed a number of months previously to the making of the TV piece. Just making a contrast with big city conditions. I plan to come up to Charleston on the 15th, dropping by Savannah, and strolling around the historic districts of Savannah and Charleston. Sounds more boring than golf, but I like it. Charles
