Tim, I don't know where, in the Southwest, you are from but, it danged sure ain't Texas!! Owning part of a baseball team is the least of his accomplishments, and was achieved by a lot of financial and political help. Before you jump on that, show me a team owner that doesn't have political help with his franchise. How do you think they get their new stadiums built? Why do politicians help? Because they reap the benefits of passing perks along to their cronies, in the form of running concessions, parking, etc.
If you did live in Texas, you would know that GW took over a state government in shambles, without any organizational leadership, and teetering on the edge of serious financial problems. As it stands now, Texas citizens have far more state services, improved highways, lower taxes, and a surplus unimagined 10 years ago.
Dynasty, shmynesty. Only a corrupt family like the Kennedys would consider the word "dynasty". I think you now have a fairly good idea where you can put your ideas and opinions.
