I remember DeVenzio. In those days Carolina was a perennial final four team and Duke was an ACC also-ran.

One year around 1969 or so, DeVenzio nearly single handedly beat a heavily favored UNC team. He was much quicker than the Carolina guards and he aggressively attacked and penetrated the Carolina defense. Carolina had to go to a zone and the Devils buried them with jump shots. DeVenzio eventually fouled out with 5 charging calls, but Duke got a rare win.

He was definitely a hot dog, he employed a lot of fancy behind the back dribbles and passes and such, but he was a very exciting player to watch.
