Marty,

I don't think HDR shares the same protocol with voice. Voice requires packets to be small to limit latency. For packets such as IP, which can be very large, larger wireless packets should be used. It is my understanding that HDR uses very large packets.

Q is not in "dead water". Few analysts have clues about how this China deal will effect the bottom line. The China deal is huge. That $250 target by the Paine Webber analyst may finally be met at the end of this year because of China. I have no idea why Smith Barney downgraded us. And that Ching guy from Merril is pretty stupid. Maybe they downgraded Q to pick up more. For whatever reason, I don't care. With the China deal, Q is just the opposite of being in "dead water".

For argument sake, Q can do the following to boost its stock.
1) 2:1 split
2) Design wins with Ericsson or Nokia
3) Spin off or sell Eudora
4) Q comes out with a Analog/GSM/CDMA chipset for handsets.
