Good report today, don't you think unc?

i was very very happy with the report and cc...
i was focused on several things...first and foremost advertising revenues.

henry said ad revs for this quarter were $800k...if memory serves me right they were about 500k last quarter up from around 350k.
now i know that 800k is not an awesome amount...however 60% and accelerating sequential quarterly growth is awesome at any amount. and this with only 2 million epgs out there. what happens when it is 5 million in a few months..then 10 million, then 30 million, etc...and then all the ad space gets filled and the ad rates themselves skyrocket. this increase will be exponential and geometric(whatever that means). i hope my numbers are right...i cannot find my notes.

i loved the detail on the thomson deal....all rca and proscan and ge digi TVs will have the guide not to mention the others...yahoo!
he talked about 30 million TV's here and there, analog/digital. pretty soon it sounds like big #'s.

nice comments about europe.

e-books are fascinating...just fascinating as a business model. the fit seems awesome. the talk about security issues and music and text was awesome too. increedible potential.

i liked henry's depiction of the 2-way ipg roll-out next year as being the "holy grail" of television. and to think e-books is involved too...

i believe we have hooked our wagon to the coattails of general yuen, commander-in-chief of worldwide television, vcr, and electronic books.

18 million counted from the lawsuit. i wish we had a feel for how the revs are tallied from tv sales..are we getting last quarters sales? or is there a delay...kinda like rmbs revs? total revs while up were not impressive if you pull the 18mil. however as i said before the proliferation of low priced gem equipped TVs in my area has just begun. but they are here now.

imho the ad revs are the big key long term and they were up big. just what i wanted...now i have to go put my shares back in the safe.
